Overview:

Sentara Family Medicine Little Neck is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our collaborative primary care team in Virginia Beach, VA. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while working alongside dedicated healthcare professionals. Qualified candidates may be eligible for up to a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus.

Clinic Hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Experience:

• Less than a year of related experience is required

Education:

• HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Certification/Licensure:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 days of hire
• Current, unexpired Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, or equivalent) or EMT-Basic certification from an accredited certifying organization

Compensation:

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.14 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
