Finding a nurse for a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and understanding of the mental health system. These roles are not just about vitals; they are about integrated care—treating the "whole person" by bridging the gap between physical and mental health. The CCBHC Nurse is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing integrated, community-based care. You will work alongside therapists, psychiatrists, and case managers to provide health screenings, medication management, and chronic disease education to individuals with serious mental illness (SMI), substance use disorders (SUD), and co-occurring physical health conditions.
WCMHS provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and a generous paid time off package including flexible holidays and 12 vacation days in year one. The starting pay range for this position is $39.09-$40.67 per hour.
Summary of Qualifications:
The position will coordinate care for children and adults, from a variety of backgrounds, in face paced and, at times, unpredictable environment. Working in a CCBHC allows you to practice at the top of your license. Unlike traditional hospital settings, you have the time to build long-term relationships with patients and witness their recovery journey firsthand. We offer competitive benefits and the opportunity to be at the forefront of the national movement to reform mental healthcare.
