Patients with heart failure, coronary disease, and arrhythmia need a clinician who closes the loop—not another handoff. In this role you own the visit, the plan, and the follow-through so therapy starts on time, risk is caught early, and people leave knowing exactly what to do next. Your work is how a cardiology service stays accessible, safe, and trusted.
You practice with board-certified cardiologists, nurses, and medical assistants in outpatient cardiology, with inpatient consult support when the schedule requires it. You have a dedicated assistant, cardiology-ready EHR workflows, timely diagnostics, and a collaborating physician for complex decisions. Panel size and visit mix are set with leadership so access targets stay realistic. You report to the cardiology medical director or APP lead.
Clinical ownership: your plan changes therapy, not just the note. APP practice designed as decision-making, not throughput. Panel and schedule built around access and quality, not volume alone. Success measured in stable patients, clean transitions, and GDMT—not busywork. If you want your days judged by patients who stay stable and colleagues who trust your judgment, apply with a resume that shows the panels you have managed and the outcomes you moved.
