Job Summary:

Responsible for driving business development and physician engagement within the department. Serves as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including mid- and senior-level executives. Establishes and implements project management processes to ensure that all project requirements are met effectively, on time, within budget, and in compliance with established standards.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of experience in business development, physician engagement, sales, or healthcare operations.

Possesses strong organizational skills, a demonstrated ability to strengthen relationships with business partners, comprehensive analytical capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experienced in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects, providing human capital leadership, and consistently achieving success while working independently.

Responsibilities

Establishes relationships with providers within the department and across the state to enhance the department’s reputation, improve faculty retention, and support financial growth. Manages the department’s business development, training, and mentoring programs. Manages various projects aligned with the department’s annual and long-term strategic plans. Serves as a departmental liaison to other departments, institutional leadership, and external stakeholders. Assists with faculty recruitment, onboarding, and engagement in provider networks. Supports medical student recruitment and coordinates outreach events for prospective residents.
