As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within PNC's Technology Security and Risk & organization, you will be based in either, Pittsburgh PA, Dallas TX, Strongsville OH, Phoenix AZ and Birmingham AL.

As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within the Technology and Security Risk & Resiliency organization, you will serve as a strategic analytics partner responsible for transforming complex technology risk data into actionable insights that support enterprise decision-making, operational excellence, and risk management objectives.

The Business Analytics Consultant Sr serves as an experienced reporting and data professional on the Technology Risk Reporting Team, independently delivering reporting solutions from requirements gathering through implementation. This role develops and supports reports, builds and maintains moderately complex data sources, serves as a data subject matter expert for stakeholders, and leads discussions to define reporting requirements and solution designs. The consultant applies strong analytical and data transformation skills to solve reporting challenges, ensure data quality, manage reporting assets, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and support technology risk management objectives.

This role combines business intelligence, data analytics, and risk reporting expertise to help leadership monitor technology risk, security performance, resiliency initiatives, and strategic priorities. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, experience with data visualization platforms, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Job Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Reporting:

• Report Development & Support: Build and support reports on enterprise analytics tools, determining the best charts and data structures needed to meet customer needs.
• Reporting Administration & Upkeep: Assist with reporting quality control work for owned workbooks. Manage Tableau inventory and user access.
• Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Set up and run requirements gathering calls to determine customer reporting needs. Drive conversation with customers to help establish framework and plans for an initial reporting product.
• Training & Development: Attend training and development meetings and add value to development conversations by sharing perspective. Drive personal development through formal, informal, and experiential learning.
• Data Source Development: Build new data sources or modify existing data sources to support new reporting needs.
• Stakeholder Consultation (Data SME): Function as a data subject matter expert on consultations with customers and business partners.
• Develop and maintain enterprise reporting and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to support Technology and Security Risk & Resiliency initiatives.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple technology and risk management systems.
• Design automated reporting solutions that provide timely visibility into key risk, security, and resiliency metrics.
• Partner with technology teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are met.

Business Intelligence & Insights:

• Leverage business intelligence tools and analytical methodologies to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and operational improvements.
• Translate complex technical and risk-related data into meaningful business insights for executive and senior leadership audiences.
• Conduct performance analysis and develop scorecards to measure progress against strategic objectives and operational targets.
• Support data-driven decision making through predictive, trend, and root-cause analysis.

Strategic Planning & Risk Analytics:

• Collaborate with Technology and Security Risk & Resiliency leaders to define, measure, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support strategic planning initiatives through market research, qualitative research, and data analysis.
• Develop risk and resiliency metrics frameworks that align with regulatory expectations and organizational objectives.
• Assist in the evaluation of technology controls, operational risks, and resiliency programs through data analysis and reporting.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Serve as a consultant to business and technology partners on analytics strategies, reporting solutions, and business intelligence capabilities.
• Present findings, recommendations, and operational impacts to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Work across multiple technology and business functions to gather requirements and develop scalable analytics solutions.
