Job Description

Branch Director

Omaha, NE · Direct Hire · Office-first, with regular travel

Cordova is an Omaha-based firm delivering AI Integration, Software Development, Executive IT and Nearshore Staffing. We are an office-first team of entrepreneurs, and we are growing. We are hiring a Branch Director, based in Omaha, to lead our home branch and build our next one from the ground up: pick the market, hire the team, and win the first clients.

What success looks like

First 90 days: learn the Cordova playbook, take over day-to-day leadership of the Omaha team, and recommend the second market.

Within year one: launch the second branch, remote to start, and hire its first Client Partners and Talent Partners.

Long term: lead both branches, with 3 Client Partners and 3 Talent Partners in the new market.

What you'll do

  • Lead the Omaha branch day to day: run team meetings and one-on-ones, coach Client Partners and Talent Partners, and manage performance against goals.
  • Build a second Cordova branch: evaluate markets, recommend the location, and launch it.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop Client Partners and Talent Partners for the new branch.
  • Own the financial results of both branches, including gross margin, placements, and profitability.
  • Drive business development: prospect, pitch, and close new clients and expand existing accounts across Cordova's service lines.
  • Coach reps on sales calls, recruit calls, and objection handling; run daily pipeline and activity audits in the ATS.
  • Partner with Cordova leadership on goal setting, training, and branch business plans; report branch metrics on a regular cadence.

What you'll need

  • 5+ years in the staffing or recruiting industry, including direct sales or full-desk recruiting
  • 3+ years leading recruiters or sales staff, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • A proven record of growing revenue and gross margin and hitting targets
  • A track record of building something with limited resources, such as opening a desk, territory, or office
  • The ability to learn technical subject matter quickly and on your own
  • Willingness to travel regularly between Omaha and the second market

Nice to have (not requirements)

  • IT or technology staffing experience
  • Experience opening a new branch or entering a new market
  • Experience with Crelate or a similar ATS/CRM, RingCentral, and Google Workspace
  • Experience across contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire placements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Compensation and benefits

Compensation: Varies dependent on skill and experience

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Tiered PTO Packages
