Overview:

Sentara is hiring a RN Transfer Center Bedflow Coordinator for the Fort Norfolk Transfer Center.

This position is full time (36 hours per week), day shift.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse
• Experience working in ICU, ED or Transfer Center
• Recent Acute Care
• Must possess the following skills: Ability to multitask, type with reasonable speed and take accurate notes.

Transfer Coordinators assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate transfers for patient flow throughout the system network. Coordinates and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate appropriate and timely patient placement and/or transfers. Coordinates and communicates capacity management plan to nursing units, leadership team and physicians. Possesses clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to meet standards of care required by the patient population. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude towards all professional contacts.

Compensation:

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.47 - $69.73 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
