Qualifications:

About the Role:

The Youth Crisis Response Team (YCRT) supports families with youth and young adults who are experiencing behavioral health challenges and would benefit from intensive, short-term (up to 42 days), in home services and linkage to going supports. As a member of YCRT, you will work alongside dedicated professionals who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where critical thinking, empathy, and clinical expertise come together to make an immediate difference.

Whether responding to crisis calls, mobile crisis situations, or after-hours needs, you will conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and help individuals access the least restrictive, most appropriate level of care. Beyond immediate crisis intervention, our team plays an essential role in supporting long-term recovery and stability. You will partner with hospitals, community providers, first responders, families, and internal clinical teams to coordinate care, facilitate smooth transitions from higher levels of care, and connect clients with resources that promote lasting wellness.

Every day offers the opportunity to provide hope during life's most difficult moments while helping individuals regain stability, strengthen resilience, and take meaningful steps toward recovery. The Youth Crisis Resolution Team aims to avoid hospital admissions whenever possible by wrapping services around the family in an effective manner. This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.

What You Will Do:

  • Conducting initial and ongoing assessments to identify mental health needs and strengths
  • Provide crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and individual, family, and group therapy
  • Deliver case management services to support client stability and continuity of care
  • Develop strength-based service plans, monitor treatment progress, and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Maintaining accurate electronic clinical records, documentation, and required reporting
  • Coordinate care with internal teams and external community partners to address social, medical and behavioral health needs.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical supervisor, multidisciplinary team members, and a psychiatrist to ensure high-quality, coordinated treatment.

Through this role, North Range Behavioral Health helps ensure that residents accessing the Public Health Mobile Unit receive compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care alongside services such as vaccinations, STI testing, maternal and child health support, health education, and screenings.

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, counseling, or another human services degree.
  • Have at least one year of experience working with individuals with mental/behavioral health challenges.
  • Can successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing.

Perks and Benefits:

  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • Multiple medical, dental, and vision plans at no cost to employees
  • Health Reimbursement Account
  • Retirement plan with employer contributions
  • Loan forgiveness opportunities
  • Employee referral bonuses
  • Professional development opportunities
