Auditorium coordinator

Comstock Park is seeking candidates who display a strong desire and ability to make an impact on students and the greater community both within and outside of the classroom. This position ends November 2026.

Facility Service and Support for Events:

Attend and manage the auditorium facility for CPPS performance events including, but not limited to: CPHS and MCMS band, choir, theater performances, CPPS elementary school musical performances, CPHS award events, CPPS professional development trainings.

Facility schedule oversight in collaboration with district facility scheduling personnel and software (MLSchedules). Ensure accessibility and readiness of the auditorium for all events. Manage the setup and teardown of bleachers. Set up and provide podium as needed. Oversee the setup and operation of audio/visual equipment. Ensure the availability and functionality of microphones and stands. Operate and maintain the projector. Manage the sound box for music and AV sound. Program and control pre-set lighting configurations.

Equipment Inventory & Security:

Maintain an inventory of all auditorium equipment. Ensure the security and proper storage of all equipment. Communication and partnership with CPHS administration on facility maintenance needs.

Operation:

Provide accessibility for basic sound and lighting equipment. Contracted personnel required for full sound board and lighting operation for all groups. This is an EduStaff position. The final candidate for this position will be required (at their cost) to furnish the district with a current Michigan State Police and FBI criminal records LiveScan check prior to our recommendation to hire.
