At the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group (WBG), you’ll join a diverse, global community working across cultures, disciplines, and borders to address the world’s most pressing development challenges. With 1.2 billion young people reaching working age in the decade ahead, the challenge of job creation has never been greater. Through partnerships across 145 countries and more than 182 offices worldwide, we work with governments, private sector, development partners and other stakeholders to invest in people, strengthen markets, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that generate more and better jobs and improve lives. In fiscal year 2026, IFC committed a record $105.6 billion to private companies and financial institutions in developing countries. For more information, visit www.ifc.org.
The Syndicated Loans and Mobilization Department is responsible for raising external funds for IFC’s borrowers through the B Loan program, Parallel Loans, Credit Insurance Policies, the Managed Co-Lending Portfolio Program, Debt Securities Syndications, and B bonds. Increasingly, the team is pursuing new syndication pathways, including securitization, capital markets, underwriting, and local currency solutions. In fiscal year FY26, the department contributed $21 billion to IFC’s program through 145 syndications. Our syndications partners include international and local commercial banks, institutional investors, impact funds, credit insurers, SWFs, and DFIs. The Department is also responsible for the ongoing syndicated loan portfolio management engagements with third-party investors.

- Advise (or contribute to the advising of) investment teams across Latin America on appropriate syndication strategy for deals across corporate financings and project financings. This includes advise on structuring issues, pricing and other commercial terms to ensure the transactions are distributable, and also advice on the different syndication products such as B Loans, Parallel Loans, MCPP, credit insurance, and new syndication pathways such as DSS, B bonds and securitization.
- Conduct industry and bank market research and pricing data analysis, including secondary market pricing; lead the preparation of regular pricing reports for syndicated loans.

- Manage assigned syndicated loan portfolio by providing high-quality service to co-lenders on ongoing project work (amendments, waivers, restructurings, information transmission on key developments, responding to inquiries), ensuring contractual responsibilities with co-lenders are being met while maintaining strong relationships.
- Expand the pool of syndication partners to maximize delivery to IFC’s borrowers, including new investors, new types of investors, and in broadened currencies, while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
