Job Description

Who We Are

Kargo creates powerful moments of connection between brands and consumers to build businesses. Every day, our 600+ employees work to radically raise the bar on what agentic AI, CTV, eCommerce, social, and mobile can do to deliver unique ad experiences across the world’s most premium platforms. Taking a creative science approach to all we do, we continuously innovate solutions that outperform industry benchmarks and client expectations. Now 20+ years strong, Kargo has offices in NYC, Chicago, LA, Dallas, Sydney, Auckland, London and Waterford, Ireland.

Who We Hire

Techies who want to build the future. Creatives who want to design it better. Communicators to win business. Collaborators to build it. Data pros who turn numbers into insights. Product builders who turn ideas into innovations. Anyone eager to be on a team that doesn’t stop to ask what’s next, because they’re already building it.

Mission

The Associate Manager, Global Experiences exists to turn Kargo's events and experiential programs into reliable engines for brand visibility and sales pipeline. This role owns the end-to-end execution of corporate events, conference sponsorships, and regional customer engagement—translating commercial objectives into well-run, on-brand experiences across national and global markets. Without it, marquee moments slip on timing, budget, or quality, and the sales force loses a key tool for accelerating relationships.

Outcomes — What Success Looks Like in 6–12 Months

  • Flawless event delivery: Execute the full slate of assigned events and activations on time and to spec, with zero major day-of failures and consistently positive stakeholder feedback.
  • Budget discipline: Deliver every program within approved budget, with accurate periodic reporting and documented cost savings on vendor contracts.
  • Pipeline-linked engagement: Drive measurable sales engagement from events—target attendee turnout, qualified introductions, and follow-up handoffs that the sales team can act on.
  • Vendor leverage: Build a reliable vendor network and negotiate terms that improve value year over year, reducing reliance on last-minute or premium sourcing.
  • Operational rhythm: Stand up a repeatable project-management cadence (timelines, status updates, RSVP and inventory tracking) that gives stakeholders predictable visibility into every program.

Skills — Core Technical Capabilities

Required

  • 2+ years planning and executing corporate events, sponsorships, or experiential programs end to end
  • Strong event project management: building and holding to budgets, timelines, and RSVP/guest logistics across concurrent programs
  • Vendor sourcing and contract negotiation covering venue, catering, décor, AV, entertainment, and transportation
  • Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Sharp attention to detail across event logistics, promotional materials, and swag/inventory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for budgets, reporting, and decks

Preferred

  • Experience supporting trade show sponsorships and speakership deliverables
  • Familiarity partnering with creative/branding teams on event collateral and invitations

Competencies — Behaviors We Like to See

  • Ownership & Reliability: Treats every event as theirs to land, tracking details to completion without being chased.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Builds trusted working relationships with sales, creative, and external vendors to get the right outcome fast.
  • Resourcefulness Under Pressure: Finds practical, imaginative solutions when venues, timelines, or vendors shift unexpectedly.
  • Operational Rigor: Keeps multiple programs organized with clear timelines, status updates, and tracking.
