ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER – MCGRATH POWERSPORTS

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Schedule: Full-Time | Tuesday–Saturday

Compensation: $36,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

McGrath Powersports is seeking an energetic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to help lead our sales team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. As one of the Midwest's premier powersports dealerships, we offer motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, and more from today's leading manufacturers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional looking to take the next step into leadership. You'll work alongside an experienced management team to develop sales consultants, drive performance, and help grow one of the area's top-performing powersports dealerships.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous sales leadership or supervisory experience (automotive, powersports, or retail preferred)
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
• Goal-oriented with a competitive, results-driven mindset
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience using CRM systems and dealership software preferred
• Ability to work a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, including Saturdays
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and dealership goals
• Assist with daily sales operations and ensure an outstanding customer experience from start to finish
• Conduct sales meetings, training, and one-on-one coaching sessions
• Monitor team performance and partner with leadership to achieve sales objectives
• Assist with inventory merchandising, showroom presentation, and promotional initiatives
• Collaborate with Finance and Service departments to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability, growth, and continuous improvement
