    • Assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures by preparing patients, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing intraoperative support.
    • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available.
    • Contribute to post-operative care by assessing wounds, educating patients on recovery protocols, and assisting with follow-up care.
  4. Patient Education and Counseling:
    • Educate patients and their families on orthopedic conditions, treatment plans, medications, and post-operative care.
    • Counsel patients to help them understand their treatment options and recovery processes, ensuring they feel supported and empowered.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Partner closely with supervising physicians on complex cases to develop comprehensive care plans.
    • Coordinate with the broader healthcare team to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
    • Maintain open communication with patients to foster trust and address any concerns throughout their treatment journey.
  6. Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow strict safety, environmental, and infection control protocols in all clinical and surgical activities.
    • Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory standards to protect patient confidentiality.
  7. Additional Responsibilities:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced clinical skills in orthopedic assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Expertise in surgical support, including knowledge of sterile techniques and operating room protocols.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building trust with patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
