As a market leader, the talent and passion of our people is critical to our success. Together, we share a common set of values rooted in integrity, excellence and strong team ethic. Morgan Stanley can provide a superior foundation for building a professional career - a place for people to learn, to achieve and grow. A philosophy that balances personal lifestyles, perspectives and needs is an important part of our culture.
The Firm Strategy and Execution (“FSE”) group is part of the Company Management Division of Morgan Stanley and is responsible for providing M&A advice and transaction execution, driving thought leadership, and executing the Firm’s strategic priorities across the Firm. FSE plays a key role in the execution of M&A transactions often pivotal to the Firm’s long-term success (e.g., acquisitions of Smith Barney, E*TRADE, Eaton Vance, Solium and Mesa West Capital, among other deals). In addition, FSE drives several strategic growth initiatives (e.g., new market / product entry) to support business expansion both domestically and internationally.
FSE offers the opportunity to join a team that is at the center of shaping the Firm’s strategy and to work on a broad spectrum of strategic projects that are critical priorities for the Firm’s Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and Operating Committee.
We are looking for an Analyst to join the FSE team in [Location]. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the execution of M&A transactions and strategic initiatives, conducting research and analytics, preparing presentations for senior management, and providing process support to the broader FSE team across the Firm’s divisions.
You will receive a variety of trainings covering financial analysis, business presentations, and practical skills. In this role, you will gain exposure to the Firm’s senior leadership, build knowledge of the Firm’s businesses and of the financial services industry, and develop a strong understanding of the Morgan Stanley culture. High performers will be eligible for internal mobility opportunities globally.
