The role: Join our administrative team as an aircraft registration specialist! In this role, you will register all aircraft in Oregon and provide administrative and clerical assistance for the department by running reports, processing payments, maintaining financial records and more. This is a limited duration appointment that is expected to end on or before June 30, 2027. Limited duration appointments are benefits eligible and have a designated maximum length of service. This position has the potential to become permanent.

A day in the life:

• Access and enter data in aircraft registration database.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Process payments over the phone and in person.
• Assist with collection efforts for aircraft registration, including sending letters and making collections calls.
• Maintain financial records for aircraft registration.
• Send annual airport license billings.
• Process certificates and licenses.
• Process agency mail, answer telephone calls and order office supplies.
• Provide customer service in person, via email and over the phone.

Work is performed in a typical office environment and includes frequent interaction with customers.

The salary range listed is the non-PERS monthly salary range. If you are already a participating PERS member or once you become PERS eligible, the salary range will increase by 6.95%.

Minimum qualifications:

• Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
• OR
• An associate’s degree in any field.
• OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
