EPIC Health is a growing, multi-state healthcare organization focused on delivering accessible, high-quality, patient-centered care. Our organization brings together medical practices, operational services, technology, and shared resources to support providers, employees, and patients across multiple markets.
As EPIC Health continues to grow, we are looking for an Administrative Fellow who is interested in developing a career in healthcare administration, practice management, and healthcare operations.
This paid, 12-month fellowship provides hands-on exposure to the day-to-day management of healthcare operations while giving the Fellow opportunities to work on meaningful projects, analyze performance, improve workflows, and learn directly from experienced operational leaders.
The Administrative Fellow will participate in a structured, hands-on development experience designed to prepare the individual for future leadership roles within healthcare operations.
The Fellow will work closely with Practice Managers, District and Operations leadership, and cross-functional teams to gain exposure to clinic operations, financial and operational performance, staffing, patient experience, quality, process improvement, provider operations, and strategic initiatives.
This is not a purely observational fellowship. The Fellow will be expected to learn by doing, take ownership of assigned projects, analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the day-to-day success of EPIC Health operations.
The fellowship is intended to provide a strong foundation for future opportunities in Practice Management, Operations Management, District Management, or other healthcare leadership roles.
Throughout the 12-month fellowship, the Administrative Fellow will receive exposure to key areas of healthcare administration, including:
The Fellow will progressively take on greater responsibility and independence as their knowledge, skills, and understanding of healthcare operations develop.
The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, hands-on, and interested in building a long-term career in healthcare operations.
You are someone who wants to understand not only how a healthcare practice operates, but why it operates the way it does—and how it can operate better.
You are comfortable working with data, asking questions, working directly with teams, and taking ownership of projects. You are adaptable and willing to work across different areas of the organization to gain a broad understanding of healthcare operations.
Most importantly, you are looking for an opportunity to develop into a healthcare leader rather than simply complete a short-term fellowship.
The Administrative Fellowship is designed to create a strong pipeline for future healthcare operations leaders.
Successful Fellows may have opportunities to transition into roles such as:
Career progression will depend on organizational needs, performance, experience, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable background checks, employment and education verification, and other pre-employment requirements.
EPIC Health is an equal opportunity employer.
