Candidates with professional experience in one or more of the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply:
Experience applying tools and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, value-stream mapping, root-cause analysis, Kaizen, or similar continuous-improvement approaches is highly desirable.
Master’s degree in business or a closely related field. 3-5 years of professional experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or a related area. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex business concepts clearly and effectively.
Master’s degree or higher in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, Logistics, Business Strategy or a closely related field. College-level teaching or professional training experience. Direct experience implementing Lean or continuous-improvement initiatives. Professional experience with international sourcing, importing, exporting, customs, freight, or global supply-chain operations. Experience managing suppliers, inventory, production, logistics, or distribution. Relevant professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar credentials.
The ideal candidate combines strong professional experience with the ability to teach students how operations and supply chain decisions are made in practice.
