Controls & Instrumentation Technician

Keep the physical layer working: sensors, edge devices and network drops on the plant floor.

What you'll do

• Install, calibrate and troubleshoot sensors, transmitters and IIoT edge devices
• Terminate and test control wiring, Ethernet and fiber drops
• Support integrators and engineers during installation and commissioning
• Diagnose device, I/O and communication faults on live equipment
• Keep calibration records, loop sheets and device inventories current

Requirements

• 3+ years as an instrumentation, controls or industrial electrical technician
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics and loop drawings
• Familiarity with PLC I/O and industrial network troubleshooting
• Associate's degree, trade school or military technical training (or equivalent)
• Nice to have: NFPA 70E training, ISA CCST certification, Fluke networking/calibration tools experience.
