Job Description:

Reports to: Project Officer - Education

Role definition:

To ensure effectiveness of Strengthening Transferable Skills, Resilience and Inclusive Development in Education and TVET) in the Districts of Moroto, Napak, Abim, Nakapiripirit, Amudat, Kaabong, Karenga, Kotido and Nabilatouk.

Key Result Areas:

• Project planning and implementation
• Technical support and training
• Partnership and networking
• Strengthening the Field Operating Model through Community Volunteer Associations
• Documentation and Reporting

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• A Minimum of a Bachelors Degree of Education with bias of primary discipline.
• A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Education management and working with different UN agencies.
• A Minimum of 2 years’ experience in community work and engagement with Sponsorship agencies.
• Must be Computer literate.
• Writing and reporting skills
• Ability to communicate in applicable local language(s)
• Passion for children.
• Track record demonstrating high integrity, reliability, and dependability.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Networking and influencing skills.
• Partnership and Collaboration Skills
• Child Protection skills
• Pedagogical knowledge and skills.
• Must be a committed Christian and an active member of the Church.
• Must be able to RIDE with a Valid Riding License attached to this application.
• School management and /or mentorship of teachers.
• Experience working with communities and teachers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
