Ehs managing consultant

ERM is seeking a motivated EHS Managing Consultant (Project Manager Level) who is interested in managing a variety of projects covering the full spectrum of ERM’s services. The role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.

ERM delivers a wide range of services, including strategy development aligned with sustainability risks and opportunities, policy/regulatory analysis, peer benchmarking, operating model and organizational readiness, and action planning around core sustainability topics such as climate change/GHG emission reduction and circular economy.

We help clients, including global companies in O&G, the chemical sector, electric and natural gas utilities, financial institutions, and process industries in general. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to play a key role working with an expert consulting team on leading-edge climate advisory projects for Fortune 500 and privately held clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support the team in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) services, especially management systems, strategic programs and compliance work.
• Be responsible/ lead EHS compliance audits and due diligence assessments.
• Take on Project Manager roles in execution of client’s EHS/ESG/ES programs.
• Identify and/or build opportunities with clients on opportunities and develop proposals to meet client's needs.
• Delivering medium-sized projects / key elements of larger projects.
• Building effective working relationships within Business Unit and across practice area and also clients.
• Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
• Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and senior members to effectively manage projects.
• Work collaboratively and effectively with clients, ERM employees, and vendors.
• Stay knowledgeable of trends in the field.

Requirement

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or similar scientific discipline (MSc preferably).
• Strong knowledge and experience in EHS Audits; EHS Management Systems, Due Diligence and Corporate EHS Programs and Standards.
• 8-12 years experiences, work experience in consulting or engineering consulting is required.
• Experience IFC Performance Stand and ADB Safeguard Policy is a plus.
• Experience hands on health and safety programs implementation and energy audit is a plus.
• High proficiency in English. Overseas degree and experience is a PLUS.
• Attention to detail; excellent proofreading/technical editing, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.
