What You Will Be Responsible For

The Four Seasons Private Residences Bangkok at Chao Phraya is looking for a Duty Engineer who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Duty Engineer will have the opportunity to shape the experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Engineer.

JOB FUNCTIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Duty Engineer, provides service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating. Additionally, they respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum hotel satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ guidelines and policies.

TASKS

• Coordinate third party services hired to undertake repairs and maintenance on behalf of the Hotel.
• The ability to train, supervise, schedule, motivate, positively discipline and plan the activities of engineering department team members.
• Estimate type and quantity of materials and equipment required to complete project and order materials, if needed.
• May train as well as oversee the work of others who assist in completing a project.
• Maintain records of work activities and materials used.
• Maintain records and write reports.
• Respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
• Estimate time, materials and equipment required for jobs assigned; requisition materials as required.
• The ability to respond & assist on major shut downs for repairs.
• The ability to maintain logs for all work performed while on duty within department and those in other departments as they apply to Engineering Repairs.
• The ability to respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by Director of Engineering. Visa sponsorship is not available for the role. Only successful candidates will be contacted.

What You Will Bring

Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in Residential Duty Engineer and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job or through a series of professional certifications. Previous pre-opening experience is a plus. Candidate should hold valid work authorization for Thailand.
