The Country Commercial Manager (CCM) Thailand is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the Thailand business, with direct accountability for the performance, growth and effectiveness of the Commercial team, comprising approximately 35 sales and marketing employees. The role will lead the execution of the country business plan, drive revenue and profitability outcomes, strengthen customer and market engagement, and ensure commercial priorities are delivered in alignment with Dentsply Sirona’s regional and global objectives.

In addition to commercial leadership, the CCM provides overarching leadership for non-sales employees in the Thailand office, helping to create a collaborative, compliant, high-performing and values-led workplace. The role acts as the senior in-country leader and key point of coordination across functions including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Service, Finance, HR, Quality/Regulatory and other support functions to ensure effective local execution, employee engagement and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Thailand business plan in line with regional and global priorities.
• Take ownership of revenue, profitability, market share, forecasting and overall commercial performance.
• Lead and develop the Thailand Commercial team of approximately 35 sales and marketing employees.
• Set clear priorities and ensure strong execution and accountability across the team.
• Lead sales and marketing activities, including customer segmentation, account planning, pricing, proposals and product positioning.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, KOLs and external stakeholders.
• Use market knowledge, customer insights and competitor intelligence to identify opportunities and risks.
• Work closely with regional Commercial, Marketing, Finance, HR, Quality/Regulatory, Customer Service and Technical Service teams.
• Act as the senior local leader for the Thailand office.
• Provide leadership and alignment across commercial and non-commercial teams in Thailand.
• Support effective office operations, communication, employee engagement and business continuity.
• Monitor key business metrics, budgets, customer experience and operational performance.
• Provide regular forecasts, business reviews, market insights and recommendations to regional leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards and local regulations.
• Coach and develop employees, identify talent, support succession planning and strengthen organisational capability.

Profile requested

• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or Masters’ degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years of business experience, including significant leadership experience in commercial, sales, marketing or general management roles.
• Proven experience leading sizeable commercial teams, preferably including sales and marketing employees across multiple business units, customer segments or product portfolios.
• Strong understanding of the dental, healthcare, medical device or related industry, with the ability to translate market knowledge into practical country plans and commercial outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior in-country leader, influencing across sales and non-sales functions and building effective relationships with regional and local stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, financial discipline, analytical capability and understanding of key operational and commercial metrics.
• Experience developing and executing business plans, forecasts, budgets, commercial initiatives and customer engagement strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate managers and employees, while building a strong culture of accountability, collaboration and performance.
• High level of integrity, discretion and judgement when dealing with employees, customers, commercial matters and confidential business information.
• Business level fluency in English; Thai language capability is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with business software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant reporting or CRM systems.
