Background

Today, the same service intervals are applied to all vessels equipped with the same application. In the future, service intervals should be tailored to the vessel’s specific operating profile and usage conditions. This will help customers reduce costs by tailoring the solution to their specific operating conditions.

Thesis Work Objective

Activities:

• Benchmark the market to understand how other manufacturers structure their service offerings across different market segments
• Develop a calculation system that provides customers with input for service-life assessments and partial-damage analyses. The calculations should be presented in a simple, clear and visually appealing package
