Reporting to his subsidiary's Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer’s primary responsibilities will include steering the company’s financial strategy, ensuring the reliability of financial and regulatory statements, ensuring compliance with the prudential requirements of Sierra Leone’s insurance regulatory framework, optimizing the management of financial resources and investments, and supporting Executive Management in strategic decision-making. The incumbent will be responsible for the following key activities:

• Contribute to the company’s financial performance
• Ensure financial and regulatory compliance
• Participate in the company’s prudential management
• Ensure optimal management of cash flow and investments
• Ensure financial governance and team management

Profil recherché

Education: Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Management Accounting, or equivalent.

Experience: At least 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a financial management role at an insurance company or financial institution.

Hard skills:

• Thorough understanding of the insurance regulatory framework in Sierra Leone and prudential requirements.
• Accounting and financial standards applicable to the insurance sector.
• Cash management and investment policy.
• Taxation applicable to insurance companies.
• Management control and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial ERP systems and decision-making tools.
