Manage sales, discount and margin planning across Singapore and Malaysia and turn performance insights into clear business actions. The role partners with cross-functional teams to strengthen plans, manage risks and opportunities, assess growth initiatives and support profitable decision-making. It will also bring modern tools, including AI, into the way Finance plans, tracks and communicates performance, with sound judgment and accountability at the core.
Manage sales, discount and margin planning for Singapore and Malaysia, supporting AOP and long-range planning and owning quarterly outlooks and monthly forecasts. Track performance against Plan, latest forecast and Prior Year, explaining the key drivers, gaps and levers in a clear and balanced way. Manage gross margin performance and set targets, working closely with Global Finance and the local Inventory Management team to align assumptions and track delivery. Own the overall risks and opportunities view, including gross margin, keep plans current as trading conditions change and bring the right teams together to agree actions and owners.
Partner with Retail, Merchandising, Marketing, Digital and Operations to support decisions that drive sustainable, profitable growth. Support the F&B team on topline management and performance tracking, providing clear visibility on drivers, risks and actions. Own analysis on pricing changes and promotions, assessing the impact on sales, gross margin and funnel metrics. Work closely with Merchandising and other cross-functional teams to align the scope, assumptions and approach, bring together a 360-degree view of the business impact and translate the analysis into practical recommendations. Challenge constructively and help move discussions from insight to action.
Assess business development opportunities and growth initiatives in line with brand and market priorities. Build financial models and scenarios that clearly set out assumptions, trade-offs, risks and returns. Track approved initiatives against their business cases and highlight where assumptions or actions need to change.
Use modern analytics, AI and automation where they improve the speed, quality or consistency of planning, tracking and reporting. Apply financial judgment, validate sources and remain accountable for the accuracy and logic of all analysis and recommendations. Improve ways of working while meeting company requirements for confidentiality, data governance and responsible use of technology.
Create clear, executive-ready presentations that connect the numbers, business context and required actions. Communicate performance, risks, opportunities and recommendations confidently to senior stakeholders. Travel periodically to markets to understand store realities, customer behaviour and local opportunities, and reflect those insights in plans and analysis.
Lead through influence and create alignment across cross-functional teams. Leverage and develop analytical support from the broader FP&A team while maintaining clear ownership of sales planning and performance management. Raise the quality and forward-looking focus of FP&A by combining finance fundamentals, retail understanding and modern ways of working.
