Manage backend processes to support optimization of SBU portfolios: In the role, the Product Specialist will coordinate with EHS/Regulatory, Product Support, Manufacturing and Planning to make changes to the portfolio offerings. Key functions will involve:

• Executing product deletions in NPIR/SAP
• Creating product plant extensions in NPIR/SAP
• Creating sales org extensions in NPIR/SAP
• Creating packaging additions in NPIR/SAP
• Adding new product names in NPIR/SAP
• Creating Fast Track requests to provide needed information relative to product changes and market needs.

Update and maintain product price book in alignment with SBU Strategy.

Submit pricing changes, including price increases, in timely manner to regional pricing.

For new products, submit list, target, and floor prices to regional pricing.

Work with Regional SBU, Global SBU directors and Pricing Leads to gain a working knowledge of how to develop pricing strategies.

Optimize SBU Profitability.

Identify and support profitability improvement opportunities.

Provide input into potential product mix impact by SBU.

Ensure accurate product costing at raw material and manufacturing levels.

Update product communications.

Review and update product information in Product Selection guides, working with marketing and APPL to execute.

Properly maintain new/updated/deleted product content on ACUMEN, including product data sheets (PDS) and associated literature.
