Job Purpose

To provide mechanical engineering expertise in the design, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services and infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review mechanical systems for buildings and facilities.
• Review HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, pumping, and related systems.
• Review contractors' mechanical drawings and technical submissions.
• Supervise mechanical installations and ensure quality compliance.
• Inspect and test mechanical systems.
• Monitor commissioning and performance testing.
• Identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable mechanical and safety standards.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience (Education)

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Professional Certification/Registration

Relevant professional registration where applicable.

Relevant Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical building services.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or related systems.
