Security Researcher

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher with a PhD in Computer Science or related fields. The ideal candidate will have expertise in security and related areas. The researcher will lead local research activities, contribute to advancing the state of the art, and ensure reproducible and impactful results.

What you’ll be doing

• Research Activities: Conduct state-of-the-art surveys, analyze scientific publications, and benchmark existing solutions in security. Define clear scientific and technical objectives to address challenges in these domains. Develop and formalize research strategies to tackle targeted issues. Analyze results, identify limitations, and refine approaches.
• Knowledge Transfer: Publish academic papers and communicate findings, including negative results, while adhering to industrial property constraints. File patents to protect innovative solutions and ensure reproducibility.
• Collaboration and Organization: Organize and lead local research initiatives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate security and privacy techniques into broader applications.

What you need to know/have

• PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• Expertise in security and malware analysis.
• Strong understanding of challenges in security.
• Proven track record of academic publications and/or patents.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
