Joint targeting systems trainer (jts, fast, courseware) for nato with security clearance

A multinational defence training academy in Oeiras, near Lisbon, is looking for an instructor to deliver user and data manager courses on its air C2 and joint targeting systems, and to keep the course material current.

What you would be doing

• Delivering courses on ICC, the Joint Targeting System and FAST to users and operators
• Teaching at the academy in Oeiras and travelling with mobile training teams to other sites
• Preparing each course: reviewing the material, checking accounts, access and exercises
• Running theory, demonstrations and hands-on exercises, and supporting students throughout
• Assessing students, collecting feedback and writing a short report after each course
• Keeping the training material up to date with the latest system versions

What you would bring

• Advanced knowledge of ICC, JTS and FAST, with real experience teaching them to users
• Solid knowledge of NATO doctrine and standards for common operations
• Knowledge of NATO command and force structures
• Experience writing technical documentation, training material and instructional aids
• Fluent English, spoken and written, including technical documentation
• Experience in an international setting with military and civilian colleagues
• A plus: a CIS instructor or course developer qualification, other NATO C2 systems, operational experience
