Key responsibilities in your new role

As a Business Analyst - Channel & Distribution Marketing, you will contribute to strategic marketing efforts by analyzing business performance, identifying trends, and suggesting actionable improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting tools, streamline internal processes, and support decision-making through data-driven insights.

• Support in the planning & controlling processes in the global Distribution Marketing department of the Power Systems Division
• Prepare monthly and quarterly scorecards
• Support in developing and further automating analysis tools (using Tableau, SQL, etc.) in close cooperation with other functions, while exploring AI-enabled analytics and automation opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and generate actionable business insights
• Run business trend, target, and actual analyses and develop suggestions for actions and next steps
• Support the enablement processes of distribution marketing (collaterals training, etc.)
• Expand and maintain the internal team tools (iShares, Confluence)
• Participate in projects with other functions to support the further development of our go-to-market strategy/activities in the distribution channel

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You bring a strong analytical mindset and a passion for working with data. You feel comfortable navigating with numbers, drawing insights, and turning them into action, while collaborating in international settings and thrive in dynamic and cross-functional environments.

• A degree in Business IT, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a similar field of studies
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable function in sales or marketing controlling, ideally within the consulting industry
• High affinity for numbers and analyses and the ability to derive conclusions and actions
• Good experience with Microsoft Excel and Tableau
• Experience with AI-supported productivity and analytics tools, including AI Agents, to automate repetitive tasks, summarize information, improve data interpretation, and support faster decision-making
• Work experience in global environments and complex matrix organizations while interacting with many other functions
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
