Devops engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join our Shared Tech team, working in a cross-functional environment where innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life. You will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of critical platforms that support ING's global technology landscape. Leveraging modern DevOps practices, you'll help drive automation, improve operational resilience, and enable engineering teams to deliver solutions efficiently and securely.

Working closely with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders across ING's global network, you'll help create reliable and scalable technology solutions that support millions of customers worldwide.

You will become part of ING Hubs Philippines, an international team supporting ING's Shared Technology organization. What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable platform solutions
• Build and enhance automation capabilities across infrastructure and operational processes
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Create and optimize scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot system and application issues within Linux environments
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote DevOps best practices, operational excellence, and infrastructure automation
• Continuously learn and explore emerging technologies and engineering practices

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
• Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments
• Solid experience with Shell Scripting and process automation
• Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysis
• Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana, including dashboard creation and performance monitoring
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and release management practices
• Experience supporting and maintaining production environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working within Agile teams and DevOps ways of working

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies
• Familiarity with security best practices within DevOps environments
