Quality systems business partner

We're looking for an experienced and motivated InEight Document Business Partner to join our Quality & Assurance team on a six month fixed-term maternity leave contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing deployment, configuration and administration of InEight Document across Downer's Transport & Infrastructure business. Working with operational teams, project personnel and system stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand, you'll help establish robust document management processes, improve data quality and drive consistent system adoption.

The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be the primary support resource for InEight Document within the T&I Quality & Assurance function.

You will work closely with project teams, operational leaders, document controllers and business stakeholders to support the setup, administration, governance and continuous improvement of the platform.

This role will focus on ensuring document management processes are simple, effective and aligned with business requirements while supporting successful adoption of the system across a diverse operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the setup, configuration and administration of InEight Document
• Maintain document structures, workflows, metadata and user permissions
• Assist projects and business units with onboarding and system implementation
• Provide user training, guidance and troubleshooting support
• Develop and maintain system guidance, procedures and training materials
• Monitor data quality and document governance requirements
• Support process enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build strong relationships with project, operational and corporate stakeholders
• Contribute to broader quality systems and assurance activities as required

About You

You are a systems-focused professional who enjoys working with people and improving processes. Experience within infrastructure, construction, engineering or project environments will be highly regarded and ideally you will bring:

• Experience with InEight Document and / or similar document management systems
• Strong understanding of document control and information management principles
• Experience configuring workflows, permissions and metadata structures
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills
• Experience developing training materials and supporting system users
• A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach
