Città is a New Zealand design company that creates purposeful, original and beautiful furniture and homeware for every room in the home. Our homes tell our stories, and through creating objects of lasting affection, we aim to inspire our customers to tell theirs.
As our Assistant Manager, you will be supporting the Sales Manager with motivating our close-knit Takapuna team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. We are looking for someone with a passion for interiors and design, who is eager to get stuck in and join the Citta family. We’d love someone who is enthusiastic and personable, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and supporting the Store Manager to lead and develop a great team. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their retail career, and gain experience in the world of New Zealand interiors, furniture and homewares.
You’ll play an important role in keeping the store running smoothly, using your problem-solving skills and eye for detail to maintain accurate stock levels, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure our stock management and reporting processes are running at their best. You will ideally have a minimum of 24 months' experience working in a retail store, ideally with high-end products (particularly with interiors/furniture) and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. You'll be someone who genuinely values great customer service and understands the importance of creating a positive experience for every customer. You need to be familiar and confident in using Microsoft Office and retail software systems in order to be successful in this role. This full-time role works 37 hours across 5 days, Sunday to Thursday, at our beautiful store in Takapuna. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Applications close 13/11/2026.
