What You'll Do

BCG’s LAB (London-Amsterdam-Brussels) Career Services (CS) team is an internal career coaching and strategic outplacement service for BCG employees & Alumni.

In this role, you’ll provide career support to BCG employees across all levels as they explore their current roles and potentially their next steps, whether inside or outside the firm. You’ll also lead the reporting on key outcome metrics for our Career Services efforts, helping demonstrate the impact of our function.

You'll help colleagues reflect on their career goals, and where necessary make sense of external market dynamics, identify new opportunities, and prepare for transitions. The role combines one-to-one coaching, reporting and project management, market insights, and relationship building.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Career Coaching
  • Support employees across all levels to explore their strengths, skills, and career aspirations through structured self-assessment
  • Act as a trusted partner to our senior leaders through pivotal career moments
  • Provide confidential, judgment-free coaching to help individuals clarify direction and next steps
  • Translate self-reflection into practical career strategies, whether that means growth within the firm or a path beyond it
• Reporting & operations
  • Own reporting on key outcome metrics related to coaching and outplacements to demonstrate program impact to leadership and to promote our services internally and across regions
  • Conduct structured exit interviews to capture and report on qualitative and quantitative insight on attrition trends, and share this for visibility to our People Team stakeholders
  • Partner cross-regionally to align best practices and maintain consistency across offices.
• Job Search / Market Support
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the external job market to give clarity and guidance to candidates
  • Support CV, cover letter, and interview preparation, along with offer review and negotiation support
  • Coordinating with the rest of the Career Services team to share candidates or leads where senior placement or a Corporate Partnership relationship is the better fit

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in an all-round Career Services, HR, or Recruiting position, or equivalent, preferably in a fast-paced professional services environment
• Coaching qualification, with a strong track record of applying it
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Master’s is a plus
• Strong knowledge of the Belgian and/or Dutch labour market
• Track record of managing projects and engaging stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, integrity, and the ability to manage sensitive information
• Fluency in English as well as a second language (Dutch or French). Third language is a plus (French or Dutch).

Who You'll Work With

You’ll join the LAB Alumni & Career Services team, working closely with colleagues across London, Amsterdam, and Brussels. You’ll also collaborate with HR, Talent, Staffing, Career Development, and the broader People Team, as well as global colleagues across the EMESA, NAMR and AP regions.
