CREATIVITY IS OUR SUPERPOWER. It’s our heritage and it’s also our future. Because we don’t just make toys. We create innovative products and experiences that inspire fans, entertain audiences and develop children through play. Mattel is at its best when every member of our team feels respected, included, and heard—when everyone can show up as themselves and do their best work every day. We value and share an infinite range of ideas and voices that evolve and broaden our perspectives with a reach that extends into all our brands, partners, and suppliers.
The Opportunity: As a Senior Supply Planner, you will play a key role in driving supply readiness and ensuring product availability across our worldwide markets. Working closely with OEM vendors and cross-functional stakeholders, you will oversee supply, inventory and capacity planning, proactively address supply risks, and drive actions to support on-time delivery and optimize inventory. You will also have the opportunity to influence vendor performance, contribute to supply planning improvements, and mentor junior team members while gaining broad exposure across the global supply chain.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 5+ years of experience in supply planning, manufacturing, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably in the toy or consumer goods industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in advanced supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau) and data analysis tools. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a dynamic environment. Good command in both spoken and written English (be able to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage)
Don’t meet every single requirement? At Mattel, we are dedicated to an inclusive workplace and a culture of belonging. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
