QA Operations Senior Technician

The QA Operations Senior Technician is responsible for supporting laboratory operations and product quality activities by conducting testing, maintaining testing equipment, documenting results, and ensuring work is completed in line with quality and compliance standards. The role also helps improve testing processes, prepares reports and laboratory documentation, provides guidance to team members, supports audits and quality system requirements, and contributes to the efficient and reliable delivery of testing services that support business and product quality objectives.

As the QA Operations Senior Technician under the area of Quality Assurance, you will:

• Perform RRP testing in accordance with defined test programs, including monitoring, specification confirmation, product validation, and market batch release activities.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of testing methods by providing practical technical input based on testing experience, equipment performance, and observed issues.
• Operate and maintain laboratory test equipment to ensure its continued functionality, reliability, and safe use.
• Support equipment qualification activities by performing assigned checks, documenting results, and confirming that equipment operates as intended.
• Support equipment calibration activities, including monitoring calibration status, coordinating scheduled calibration, maintaining calibration records, and reporting equipment deviations.
• Conduct assigned test method validation activities under the direction of the responsible Specialist, accurately record the results, and report any abnormalities or deviations.
• Evaluate test results and independently prepare clear and accurate technical reports and presentations in English for communication to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Create and update work instructions, operating instructions, data sheets, equipment maintenance procedures, and other laboratory quality documents in accordance with the applicable document-control process.
• Provide practical training and on-the-job guidance to laboratory team members regarding testing procedures, equipment operation, quality requirements, and laboratory safety.
• Support the maintenance of the laboratory Quality Management System, including the preparation and control of testing records and other relevant documentation, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, GMP, and applicable internal requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits by preparing relevant records, explaining assigned laboratory activities, and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Promptly report testing abnormalities, equipment failures, safety concerns, and quality deviations and support the investigation and resolution of identified issues.

Requirements:

Education: Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Measurement Technology, or a related technical discipline.

At least 3 years of professional experience within a global-scale business, with sound knowledge of product quality management or quality assurance activities in either the tobacco industry or a multinational electronics company.

Experience in product testing or laboratory environment is required, including hands-on execution of functional, reliability, performance, or validation testing, operation of test equipment, troubleshooting, data analysis, and preparation of test reports.
