Ground transportation manager

Job Descriptions:

Work as intermediary for communication between operations teams and Crane Worldwide network.

Work with operations team to provide tracking information as requested by the client.

Development of department operational KPI’s.

Proactively identify and meet customer and stakeholder needs.

Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the client to insure prompt resolution.

Development of department operational KPI’s.

Responsible for creating and monitoring goals and performance reviews of direct reports.

Oversee, mentor and assist other team members as needed.

Manages team in process and continuous improvement efforts.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Organizational Development, Transportation or related field or equivalent work experience is required.

A minimum of 5 (five) years Transportation/Logistics experience preferred.

A minimum of 3 (three) years supervisory experience preferred.

Experience with ground transportation operations including DOT, OSHA and all related safety regulations.
