Job Description

Duties will include:

  • Requirements gathering: Work closely with various stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements and needs.
  • Data and information analysis: Analyse processes and conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights as per project requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, assist in the design and implementation of re-engineered processes and in similar initiatives for achieving operational efficiency.
  • Solution Design: Assist stakeholders and departments in the design and implementation of technology solutions.
  • Reporting: Assist in the design and recommendation of reports and dashboards to track business performance, support decision-making and monitor benefits realisation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Participate in effective communication between business units, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all business processes and solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Any other cognate duties

Technical and behavioural skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and go-getter.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL and BI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with AI tools for achieving business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in Management, IT or any other business-related field.
  • A Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma would be a definite advantage.
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience either as an Associate Business Analyst or as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry.
  • Some experiences in projects environment would be a plus.
