About the role

Join Orica as an HRBP Specialist and help shape the future of our people and culture in Mongolia.

Based in our Ulaanbaatar office, you will be a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees, delivering strategic HR partnership, expert Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) guidance, Talent Acquisition activities, and people-focused solutions that drive business performance. You'll play a key role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace while supporting the achievement of Orica's business goals and HR strategy.

What you will be doing

• Partner with leaders and managers to provide strategic HR advice and support business objectives.
• Expert guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
• Implement and drive HR policies, programs, and organizational initiatives at the local level.
• Coach and support managers through people-related challenges, change initiatives, and workforce planning activities.
• Collaborate with Regional HR Employee Services and Centres of Excellence (COEs) to deliver effective HR solutions and services.
• Monitor industrial relations trends, provide ER/IR advice, and support collective agreement negotiations when required.
• Identify and respond proactively to emerging people issues, risks, and business needs.
• Support HR reporting and analytics, including contributing to monthly HR dashboard reporting and workforce insights.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of Mongolian employment legislation, labor laws, and workplace practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and partner effectively with leaders at all levels.
• Experience supporting organizational change initiatives and driving people-focused solutions.
• Strong planning, administration, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with regional and global teams.
