Specialist, business finance commercial

We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and takes ownership of projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to build effective partnerships across multiple functions. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and a clear development path toward a Finance Controller position.

What You Will Do

• Lead cost controlling activities for Administration, Digital, and Real Estate functions across North America Operations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and variance analysis processes.
• Partner with Finance, IT, HR, Real Estate, and Accounting teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
• Drive strategic projects focused on cost centralization, governance, and process improvement.
• Develop and implement new reporting, controls, and governance frameworks to enhance cost visibility and accountability.
• Identify process inefficiencies, resolve cost ownership issues, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support transformation initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, Accounting, or Business Finance.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with SAP, EPM, Tagetik, or similar financial systems.
• Experience in cost controlling and support function finance.
• Background leading process improvement or transformation initiatives.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.
• Demonstrated ability to build governance models, reporting frameworks, and scalable processes.
• Previous experience supporting business leaders through financial insights and decision-making.
