Position Purpose:

Responsible for creating and maintaining software applications to meet the needs of the business and customers. The role involves working collaboratively under the scrum methodology interfacing with UX, PM, QA, Arch and business stakeholders.

Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies.
• Design, develop, test and deploy software applications.
• Engage in work sessions, code reviews and proactive communication to improve quality and share knowledge.
• Address and resolve software defects and implement enhancements.
• Contribute to the evolution of our CICD practices.
• Advocate for best practices in software development.
• Develop and maintain software applications under guidance, focusing on learning while handling tasks and bug fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback to improve coding skills.
• Contribute to team meetings and scrum ceremonies.
• Understand and implement best practices in coding and development consistently.
• Develop and maintain documentation for projects.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues and optimizing code.
• Implement features and improvements based on user feedback.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to enhance technical skills.
• Assist in testing and validation of applications.
• Collaborate with other teams to understand and meet business requirements.
• Build a basic understanding of our SDLC, security standards, tools and business processes.
• Effectively communicate and escalate technical issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate and learn from more experienced peers.

Additional Functions:

• Proactively identifies opportunities to improve existing methodologies, processes or other areas of performance.
• Proactively communicates issues and status as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience with SCRUM, Cl/CD, Oracle/SQL, Web API, Full Stack Development, Object Oriented Programming, SOLID, TDD, DDD, Dependency Injection, Reactive Programming, Automated Unit Testing, Server Administration, Mulesoft, Powershell, Power Automate, Python, IIS Management, Azure Functions, Load Balancers, Swift, React Native, Xcode.
