The Partnerships and Outreach Associate serves as a vital asset to the Liberia Diplomatic Club (LDC), driving the organization's growth through strategic alliance building and dynamic stakeholder engagement. This position is specifically tailored for a forward-thinking professional eager to advance in the fields of diplomacy, communications, youth empowerment, and collaborative development. The role focuses on cultivating meaningful connections with a diverse array of entities, including youth groups, diplomatic missions, academic institutions, and development agencies, to amplify the LDC's impact and visibility.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective partners and key stakeholders to expand the organization's network.
- Facilitate the establishment and nurturing of long-term collaborations with partner organizations.
- Execute targeted outreach initiatives to embassies, government bodies, non-governmental organizations, development partners, universities, and private sector entities.
- Draft and refine essential partnership documentation, including concept notes, proposals, and formal correspondence.
- Coordinate logistics for stakeholder meetings, partnership events, and engagement activities.
- Manage and continuously update a comprehensive database of contacts and partner information.
- Conduct timely follow-ups regarding meeting outcomes, emerging opportunities, and committed action items.
- Provide logistical and operational support for LDC events, summits, dialogues, and youth-focused programs.
- Act as a representative for the LDC during external engagements and public forums.
- Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and new partnership avenues.
- Generate concise reports and updates detailing outreach progress and partnership developments.
- Collaborate with the communications department to enhance the visibility of LDC initiatives and alliances.
- Execute additional duties as directed by the Executive Director or Secretariat.
