Qnity Litho R&D is looking for a motivated researcher to develop advanced raw materials for semiconductor lithography photoresists.

Litho R&D develops a broad portfolio of litho materials that drive advances in semiconductor industry. Including KrF & ArF resist, BARC, EUV underlayer and EUV resists, our new products improve the performance of semiconductor devices by delivering requirements of our customers. Especially, functional sub-layer(FSL) group, EUV group, and material group in Litho R&D work to develop new ArF/KrF BARC & EUV underlayer, EUV resist product by innovative formulation design with new materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and synthesizing novel monomers for photoresist polymer development
• Developing ionic organic compounds for use as photoacid generators (PAGs) and quenchers
• Purifying and characterizing synthesized materials
• Supporting the development of next-generation lithography materials for semiconductor applications

Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field
• Strong expertise in organic synthesis
• Extensive experience in compound purification techniques
• Experience with semiconductor materials, photoresists, PAGs, or functional monomers is highly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a research and development environment
• Verbal and written communication skills including technical writing and presenting in English/Korean
