Job Description

Your tasks:

• Work self-responsibly in a tandem with Sales to lead and coordinate customer requirements between ZF TSO, Engineering Product Groups and customers on a global basis, in an international environment.
• Clarify platform-based technical project topics through the development process.
• Coordinate the ongoing development projects as a speaker for ZF engineering to the customer.
• Negotiate cross-project technical content, specifications and standards and prepare them for completion.
• Efficiently manage processes between the customer's development and ZF.
• Lead a team of project engineers during the acquisition of bundled components in platform projects.
• Proactively coordinate the technical issues within the framework of the project acquisition.
• Manage technical issues with active reporting regarding the development status to the management.
• Identify and promote ZF innovations towards the customers in order to prepare future business.
• Keep the overview for ZF about linked issues between different projects and plants.
• Organize and present customer meetings.
• Build a good and stable customer relationship as first contact for all engineering issues.
• Lead the team in the preparation of customer presentations.
• Organize regular status meetings with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and strategic coordination in alignment with the relevant management levels at customer and ZF engineering.
• Read the market trend collecting customer pain points from technical perspective and support customer specific promotion strategy set up with Sales.
• Be the on-site partner near customer location in order to provide self-responsibly technical support for the customer.
