As growth is expected in renewable energy-related fields, our company aims to lead the market as the top share holder of domestic household storage battery systems by utilizing GaN devices and advanced energy control technologies. We are also contributing to factory automation, IoT, and carbon neutrality by developing power electronics products such as servo drives and general-purpose power supplies.
We aim for business growth of 200 billion yen in sales by 2030 and are strengthening our technological development capabilities. As part of this, we have established a Power Electronics Center in the Kyoto area, which will serve as a core base for research and development of advanced technologies.
You will be responsible for investigating advanced technologies related to power electronics, developing prototypes in collaboration with business divisions, and working with the headquarters quality technology department on key points of product quality and reliability such as heat dissipation, structure, and implementation technology.
In particular, PCB implementation technology is positioned as a crucial technology that significantly impacts product size, manufacturing cost, and quality.
In cooperation with electrical and control engineers and production engineers, you will create heat dissipation structures and implementation boards that can ensure mass production quality, aiming for outputs that can achieve high-level QCD.
The Power Electronics Center collaborates with the quality technology department of the global purchasing and logistics headquarters to improve product quality and reliability.
A friendly environment with many career entrants (about 30%), good communication, and an easy onboarding process.
The document selection and interviews for this recruitment will be conducted by the Strategic R&D Headquarters of Omron Corporation, the Industrial Automation Business Company, and the Global Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics Headquarters.
