Job Description:

An international construction group with active projects in Jordan is looking for a Management Accountant to provide reliable financial reports, forecasts and analysis, and to prepare Group consolidation and statutory financial statements.

• Prepare monthly management reporting packs by company, business activity and Group, with variance analysis against budget and prior periods
• Coordinate annual budgets and periodic forecasts and maintain approved forecast versions
• Prepare project profitability reviews covering cost to complete, margin movements and expected final profit
• Prepare and update cash flow forecasts and analyze receivables, retention, payables and working capital
• Prepare Group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments
• Prepare annual statutory and consolidated financial statements with notes and supporting schedules
• Coordinate external audit schedules and incorporate approved audit adjustments
• Support tax reporting with reconciled financial information
• Standardize reporting definitions and recommend improvements to reporting and controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA
• 5+ years of experience in management accounting and financial reporting, preferably in construction or contracting
• Proven experience in Group consolidation and preparing financial statements under IFRS
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and project profitability analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP skills; Power BI is an advantage
• Strong analytical and presentation skills for communicating results to management
