Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Corporate Communications team in the capacity of: Senior Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility & Client Communications leads the planning and delivery of corporate social responsibility programmes, client communications, website content strategy and management to advance Sagicor’s purpose, strengthen client and stakeholder trust and support business priorities.

Manages community investment and partnership initiatives, team member volunteerism, client communication programmes, and the planning, governance and timely updating of website content across Sagicor’s Caribbean-wide markets and business units.

Location: Kingston

As a Senior Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility & Client Communications, you will:

  • Develop and execute annual CSR, community investment, partnerships and employee volunteerism plans aligned with corporate priorities.
  • Assess funding and partnership proposals using clear criteria for strategic fit, reach, feasibility, governance and measurable impact.
  • Manage relationships with foundations, non-profit organisations, community partners and beneficiaries.
  • Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end oversight of the Sagicor SIGMA Corporate Run and related fundraising initiatives, ranging from governance to participant experience, impact reporting and close-out.
  • Track programme outcomes, budgets and risks, and prepare executive and Board-level updates on social impact.
  • Oversee Sagicor Foundation governance and administration, ensuring Board and committee submissions, approvals, beneficiary records, safeguarding requirements, contracts and action follow-up are accurate, complete and timely.
  • Develop and manage client communication plans for service updates, operational changes, regulatory notices, incidents and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the external client communications function within the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), including maintaining response protocols, stakeholder and channel matrices, pre-approved templates and escalation paths; coordinate timely, accurate updates during disruptions and lead post-incident communication reviews and improvements.
  • Translate complex business, legal and operational information into clear, accessible and client-centred messages.
  • Coordinate approvals and distribution across email, website, contact centre, and social media channels.
  • Develop and oversee the website content strategy, including content planning, governance, publishing standards and editorial calendars; ensure information is accurate, current, accessible, search-friendly and aligned with client needs and business priorities; coordinate timely updates with business and digital teams; and use website analytics, search behaviour and client feedback to optimise content and the online client journey.
  • Maintain communication templates, calendars, governance standards and quality controls.

What do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies or a related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a management or senior leadership role, including responsibility for team members, budgets, suppliers and multiple projects.
  • Progressive experience in corporate communications, CSR, marketing, stakeholder engagement or a related field, is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of CSR, community investment, partnership management, sustainability and social-impact measurement.
  • Advanced writing, editing and message-development skills for diverse client audiences.
  • Knowledge of client communication governance, regulatory notices, accessibility and plain-language principles.
  • Knowledge of business continuity and incident communications, including scenario planning, response protocols, rapid approvals, multi-channel distribution and post-incident review.
  • Basic website management skills, including use of content management systems to publish and update pages, upload content, maintain links and perform routine quality checks.
  • Experience managing multi-channel communication plans, projects, suppliers and budgets.
  • Ability to analyse engagement, service, complaint and impact data and translate findings into action.
  • Strong stakeholder management, presentation and executive-reporting capability.
  • Working knowledge of reputation, issues and crisis communications.
