Purpose of Position

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Officer to support the delivery of key HR functions across our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, training coordination, payroll administration, benefits administration, compliance monitoring, and HR reporting.

The role requires collaborating with managers to address workforce needs, planning and implementing employee training and development initiatives, effective administration of the corrective action process, maintaining accurate HR records and systems, managing contract renewals and leave administration, and supporting employee engagement and recognition programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation of employees
• Conduct background and reference checks
• Manage employee records
• HR data, payroll inputs and reporting
• Coordinate training activities and support implementation of the annual training plan
• Administer employee benefits, leave, and contract renewals
• Support employee relations initiatives and compliance with labour laws and company policies
• Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees
• Assist with HR budgets, events, and special projects.

Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or a related field
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in an HR role, including supervisory experience
• Sound knowledge of labour laws
• HR policies and best practices
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
