Job Summary

The Head of Corporate Planning leads the organization's strategic planning, financial planning, performance management, and business planning processes. In an insurance and investment environment, the role translates corporate strategy into multi-year plans, budgets, forecasts, business targets, capital allocation priorities, and performance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Group's annual and long-term corporate planning process.
• Develop 3–5 year strategic and financial plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Coordinate annual budgets, forecasts, and business-unit operating plans.
• Develop integrated financial models, scenarios, and business plans.
• Monitor performance against strategic, financial, and operational KPIs.
• Lead monthly/quarterly business performance reviews with senior management.
• Analyze revenue, profitability, expenses, capital requirements, and investment performance.
• Support capital allocation and resource planning across business units and investment portfolios.
• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing.
• Identify growth opportunities, cost optimization opportunities, and business risks.
• Prepare strategic presentations and management reports for the CEO, CFO, Executive Committee, and Board.
• Work closely with Finance, Investments, Risk, Actuarial, Treasury, Operations, and Business Unit leaders.
• Support strategic initiatives, business transformation, M&A, and new-market opportunities.
• Establish corporate performance-management frameworks and planning standards.
• Lead and develop the corporate planning / FP&A team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10–15+ years of experience in corporate planning, FP&A, corporate strategy, finance, or business performance.
• Strong experience in strategic planning + financial planning + performance management.
• Background in insurance, banking, investment management, asset management, or financial services preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience working with Board, CEO, CFO, and senior leadership teams.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, capital allocation, investment performance, and business economics.
• Experience with multi-entity/group planning preferred.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, CFA, CIMA, MBA Finance/Strategy, or equivalent preferred.
