Job Summary

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) provides executive leadership for the organization's technology and information strategy. In an insurance and investment environment, the CIO is responsible for IT strategy, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data & analytics, applications, infrastructure, technology governance, and technology-enabled business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group's enterprise technology and information strategy.
• Align technology investments with corporate, insurance, and investment-business objectives.
• Lead digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives.
• Oversee enterprise architecture, infrastructure, applications, cloud, networks, and IT operations.
• Lead cybersecurity, information security, privacy, and technology risk management.
• Establish IT governance, policies, standards, controls, and technology operating models.
• Oversee core insurance, investment, finance, CRM, ERP, and enterprise applications.
• Develop and implement data, analytics, BI, and AI strategies.
• Ensure data quality, governance, accessibility, and security.
• Lead technology resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident management.
• Manage technology vendors, strategic partners, outsourcing arrangements, and technology budgets.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential business applications.
• Lead major technology programs, transformation initiatives, and system implementations.
• Ensure technology compliance with applicable financial-services and data regulations.
• Present technology strategy, investment priorities, risks, and performance to the CEO, Board, and Executive Committee.
• Build and lead high-performing technology and IT leadership teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
• 5+ years in CIO / CTO / senior technology leadership roles.
• Strong background in financial services, insurance, banking, asset management, or investment management preferred.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide technology transformation.
• Strong knowledge of: Enterprise Architecture, Cloud & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, AI / Automation, IT Governance, Digital Transformation, Technology Risk, Business Continuity.
• Experience managing large technology budgets and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong Board and C-suite stakeholder-management experience.
• Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, MBA, IT Management, or equivalent.
